Experience alpine Alpine climbing in the Canadian Rockies!
The goal for this adventure is to have a fun and safe trip climbing some of the most beautiful peaks in the world.
Our expert certified IFMGA or ACMG guides are able to guide and teach to the level of experience of you and your group, starting with the fundamentals all the way to advanced skills. This is your group's trip and it will be tailored to meet the needs of your group.
The Canadian Rockies is home to some exceptional alpine climbing. With great access and a plethora of routes to choose from there is truly something for everyone here.
Itinerary: (Trip length ranges from 1.25-5 days)
For 1 day trips: We will meet in the evening before our trip to make sure everything is ready and we are prepared for the next days ascent. On the climbing day we will meet very early in the morning at a pre-determined location and head out for the day. These routes can be long days in the neighborhood of 12 hours round trip.
For Multi-day adventures, we will base out of Lake Louise. We will meet up on day 1 and perform a "warm up day" doing some rock climbing and brushing up on rappelling and other skills at a classic venue such as "the back of the lake." The following days will be Alpine climbs selected according to the conditions.

Logistics:
The maximum guest to guide ratio is 2:1 due to the technical nature of the climbing.
A parks pass will be required for your stay in the National Parks.
Transportation
Any vehicle will suffice.
Accommodation
Accommodation varies depending on your preference and availability. Due to the popularity of Lake Louise in the summer months it is best to plan well ahead when booking this trip. Camping is available as well as hostel accommodation and hotels including the famous Chateu Lake Louise (Additional fees apply for accommodation on this trip.)
Meals
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are provided during the trip if staying at the campground or hostel. If we choose to utilize hotel accommodation only lunch is included.

Personal Gear
Boots – 3 Season Mountaineering boots. Waterproof and crampon compatible. NSM can provide boots if required. (Included - limited availability so let us know well ahead of time your shoe size!)
Rock climbing shoes - Comfortable for multi-pitch climbing. ( If you require Rock climbing shoes we can provide you with a set for the trip - Included).
Day-pack – 30-40 litre capacity (NSM can provide this if you need - Included)
Outer layer jacket with hood – Gore-Tex style
Lightweight outer layer waterproof pants – Gore-Tex style
Lightweight thermal layers – top & bottom, Polypro, Icebreaker, etc.
Climbing/hiking pants – nylon, fleece, Schoeller, etc. (1 pair)
Gloves (medium weight) – wool or poly-pro (2 pair)
Waterproof gloves or mitts (gloves work best) (2 pairs)
Warm parka/jacket – down, synthetic, fleece or pile (1)
Sweater or vest – wool, synthetic, fleece or down (1)
Socks – wool or synthetic blend (2-3 pairs)
Toque/warm hat – wool or fleece (1)
Sunglasses – UV block with good eye coverage (1pr)
Ski goggles
Headlamp with new batteries

Season and availability:
This is a very popular destination - it is best to reserve trips at least 4 months in advance to ensure accommodation will be available in Lake Louise.
May to Mid June: Early season conditions. Depending on the year there can be a lot of snow. Some routes will be too wet or icy.
June through August: Main season. Most routes will be in condition.
September-October: Fall conditions. Snow is more likely
